Terms & Conditions

By booking services with Golden Hour Doula Services and/or using this website, you agree to the following terms:

Scope of Services

Doula care includes emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum. This support is non-medical and does not include diagnosing conditions, providing medical advice, performing clinical procedures, or replacing care from licensed healthcare providers. Clients are encouraged to maintain regular care with their chosen medical providers and to make all medical decisions in partnership with them.

Role of the Doula

As a doula, I provide continuous, non-clinical support to help you feel informed, supported, and grounded throughout your experience. I do not make decisions for clients, but rather offer evidence-based information, comfort measures, and emotional support to assist clients in making their own informed choices.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Birth is unpredictable, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed. While every effort is made to provide consistent and supportive care, no specific birth outcome, timing, or experience can be promised.

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for their own medical decisions, including but not limited to choosing providers, accepting or declining interventions, and following medical advice. The doula does not assume responsibility for medical decision-making.

Payments, Fees & Refunds

All fees, payment schedules, and refund policies are outlined in individual client agreements. Services are confirmed only once a contract is signed and any required deposit is received. Payment plans must be completed as agreed upon in the client contract.

Cancellations & Termination

Cancellation policies, including refunds (if applicable), are detailed in the client contract. Either party may terminate services under reasonable circumstances as outlined in the agreement.

Limitation of Liability

By working with Golden Hour Doula Services, you agree that the doula is not liable for medical outcomes, decisions made during care, or any complications that may arise during pregnancy, birth, or postpartum.
