A Holistic Pregnancy Circle to Prepare for Birth

I created this circle because after five years of being a doula, I’ve witnessed something over and over again: so many people prepare for birth by focusing on everything but themselves. What to pack in the hospital bag, how to time contractions, which pump to order — and yes, those things have their place. But when labor actually begins, it’s not the perfectly packed bag that gets you through… it’s your breath, your mindset, your ability to surrender and trust what your body already knows.

This three-week series is designed to gently guide you through the emotional, physical, and spiritual layers of pregnancy and birth. Together, we’ll slow down, connect inward, and explore what it means to move through this season with intention, strength, and trust.

Weekly Curriculum:

✨ Week One: Rooted Beginnings – Connection, Story, and Fertility

In our first gathering, you’ll be invited to slow down, settle in, and begin building connection—with yourself, your story, and the circle around you. Together, we’ll create a safe space to explore the path that brought you here: your fertility journey, your beliefs about birth, and the stories you carry. Through gentle reflection and shared experiences, you’ll begin to uncover what has shaped you—and what you’re ready to release as you move forward with clarity and intention.

This week, you’ll explore:

  • Building connection and community

  • Reflecting on your fertility journey and birth story

  • Unpacking beliefs and gently releasing fears

  • Tuning into your inner voice and wisdom

You’ll practice:

  • Breathwork exercises

  • Guided body check-ins + awareness

  • Journaling + self-expression

✨ Week Two: Mind–Body Harmony – Inner Strength, Instinct, and Advocacy

This week is all about tuning into your body’s wisdom and embracing your inner strength. You’ll explore how to prepare mentally, emotionally, and physically for labor—through comfort techniques, instinctive movement, and practical coping strategies. We’ll also begin to deepen your sense of agency, helping you feel confident in making informed decisions and advocating for what matters most to you.

This week, you’ll explore:

  • Harmonizing mind and body

  • Instinctive birth and intuitive movement

  • Coping strategies for labor

  • Empowered choices and self-advocacy

You’ll practice:

  • Simple birth prep movement

  • Pelvic-opening positions

  • Hands-on comfort measures

  • Affirmations + calming visualizations

✨ Week Three: The Sacred Threshold – Birthing, Bonding, and Becoming

In our final gathering, you’ll be invited to lean into the sacred transition of birth and postpartum. We’ll explore the importance of the Golden Hour, ways to support your healing in the early weeks, and reflect on who you are becoming as you step into this new chapter. We’ll close our circle with gratitude, intention, and a grounding ritual to honor your journey.

This week, you’ll explore:

  • The Golden Hour and early bonding

  • Nourishment, rest, and postpartum healing

  • Identity shifts and transitions into parenthood

  • Honoring the journey with ritual and reflection

You’ll practice:

  • Postpartum care mapping

  • Crafting your own postpartum sitz bath

  • Journaling for integration

  • Closing circle + grounding ritual

Whether it’s your first baby or your fourth, if you’re somewhere in your second or third trimester and craving connection — to your body, your baby, and others walking this path too — this circle is for you.
